INFORMATION:

College Parade rest upon the northern tip of Salusbury Road, a bustling high street located in the north west London neighbourhood of Queens Park.

The property itself is spread across the ground & lower ground floors of a period conversion with access at ground level. block The office offers circa 650sq/ft of internal commercial space including a double height front entrance and mezzanine.

The brief was to create an environment would provide both a high quality & uplifting setting for employees as well as a welcoming & exciting space for customers. It was imperative to create a space which fitted seamlessly into the properties unique characteristics enhanced the space to make it suitable for the demands of the modern office work as well as enhancing the business brand. The client had a limited budget and quick timeframe requirements which made sourcing materials that fit both budget and end project objectives vitally important.

Throughout the project the adoption of modernist industrialist principles can be seen; the use of materials such as wood, stell, glass, concrete and brick. This catered to the fabric of the existing building, double height entrance and mezzanine space, to fulfil the design brief while keeping costs on budget. The removal and safe capping of gas and ventilation shafts was required due to the previous use as a restaurant.
